Quick Glitz: 7 Followers Mani

Hey beauties! If you all have read my last post, you know that I have 7 FOLLOWERS!!! and I am really excited. Everyone, if you follow me, please shoot me a comment telling me a simple design/icon that describes your blog or personality that could be done in nail art. I will have a special mani/pedi coming up for anyone who does! Thanks!

It's a seven followers mani! I created this look by painting my embarrassingly nubby nails SC Mint Apple, then making little sevens on each nail except for one of your choice with SC Nail Art Rose in Your Nose. One the blank nail, make to thick slashes to create a heart shape with the Nail Art polish. Wahlah!

Pinkstrawberrielove-Inspired NOTD!

Hello beauties! I have just been followed by the lovely Riya, who has a cute blog called Pinkstrawberrielove. I thought that since I am being f-
ollowed by such an awesome person, I want to celebrate with a cute toe NOTD!

Ta-da! Like it? I did it on my mom's feet because my toes are gross (I run a lot in all sorts of places!) using 5 great polishes. To do this, paint each of your big toes shade Cream Pink from Sinful Colors and top with shade Pink 4 Ever, also from SC. Now dip a q-tip into a bottle of NYC's Big Apple Red and create a heart shape without the arching top, more like an appleseed. Use a toothpick and SC Innocent to create the leaves. With the other side of the toothpick, create 3-4 dots on the strawberry using SC Snow Me White. Now, going in a back-and-forth pattern, paint the smaller nails either Pink 4 Ever or Cream Pink. Walah! Also, if you follow me, shoot me a comment explaining a simple design that describes you and your blog so I can try to do a NOTD! Thanks Riya love!

Sinful Colors Nail Enamel in Verbena

Hey again! Here is a quick review of one of my new favorite polishes, Sinful Colors Nail Enamel in Verbena. Love it!

My middle and third finger as usual look gross, but hey, at least it's a pretty color. This is a very nice creamy heather color that you really can't go wrong with, and it was a breeze to apply thanks to...well...everything! I chose to paint my nails this color because I am headed for dinner and then this new glow-in-the-dark haunted house kind of place called Monster Mini Golf. I recommend this because I can't find anything bad to say about it!

Friday Fluorescent Tips

Hmm, lately I've been wondering what my way-too-short nails would look good in, and I finally found what might be the beginning of a beauty revolution...fluorescent tips! Personally, I think this would actually look better on those lucky enough to have nice nails that aren't to long nor short (like one of my favorite beauty bloggers, Citrine), but who doesn't love the brights anyway?

Um, do those bracelets make my hand look like a dwarf doll's or what? But anyway, the polish I used on the tips of my nails is my Sinful Colors Nail Art (polish) in shade Orange Alert topped with the same product in shade Rose in Your Nose. It's really simple to do  (just paint the tips of your nails with any polish that has a thin brush!) and looks awesome at parties. What do you think of this look? Do you think simple is better or do you like to pile it on?

Nailed It: Polishes from Sinful Colors, Wet 'n Wild, O.P.I., and Sally Hansen

Here's a nail post for you to enjoy, but before you check it out, know that I have short, nubby nails due to a horrible biting habit, so I can't really swatch the polishes on my nails. Oh well...

My tower of polishes...quite artful, I must say. Below are the Sinful Colors Nail Art polishes (shades Rose in Your Nose, Orange Alert, Morning Breath, Worn Before, and Anxious Azure). Then come the Wet 'n Wild Wild Shine Nail Colors (shades French White Creme, Bijou Blue, Caribbean Frost, Ice Blue Pearl, Rain Check, and Black Creme). After that is the Sally Hansen Color Quick Fast Dry Nail Color Pen (shade Turquoise Chrome) and the Nicole by O.P.I. Nic's Sticks Paint & Go Nail Lacquer pens (shades Snow Time to Wait, Rainbow's End, Feeling Girly, Run Don't Walk, and Silver-ella). Last of all, the Sally Hansen Hard as nails Xtreme Wear nail polish in Lime Lights.

Review and results: The nail art polishes have nice thin  brushes and electrifying colors (love) the regular polishes really dazzle (love) the pens have trouble pumping-especially the SH one-but do have OK colors. (both maybe)  The SH regular polish is a nice color, but does have quite some fumes.
