From now on, I am going to be doing irresistibles posts every month, just too keep track of how my interests come and go. So enjoy my January edition!
Here we have a scented candle from BBW, my Maybelline Dream Mousse Blush, my NYC Lip Slider in Sugar Fairy, my Zoe & Zac mineral powder, a sheet of Japanese water Chopstixers stickers, and of course my origami Star Wars friends. How to Make an Origami Bird in 30 Seconds or Less
Since I am running low on origami-based posts, I am going to give you guys instructions for folding a simple origami bird out of a regular-sized sticky note in no time flat. Enjoy it!
To start, fold your sticky note in half twice. Now just fold down half on each side to create flaps for wings. To make your bird appear to fly, take the bottom and push it open and closed. Ta-da...make as many as you want for a whole flock! If you don't understand one of the directions, post a comment and I'll get back to you!

Happy New Year from Origami Yoda and Darth Paper!
Hello, 2012! To celebrate, here are some special guests...Origami Yoda and Darth Paper! I made them myself using the instructions from the backs of the Origami Yoda and Darth Paper books* by Tom Angleberger. Here they are "watching fireworks"...
They're so cute, and always ready to ring in the holidays like this one! Happy 2012, everyone!
*P.S. I made the Yoda robe myself without instructions, because it does not say how in the books. The five-fold Yoda method I used is in the Darth Paper book.
