More Spy Cam: Walgreens Your Next! (Pic Heavy)

Hi! More spy cam...hope you like it! I have hit Walgreens to catch up on some new stuff, but it all looks kinda lame all in all...
The gem of this post-Wet 'n Wild Flora and Fauna 4-piece collections! Wow, full-size items (may I mention that I love all of these formulas/product?) for $4.99? Deal!!! Actually, doesn't the model look like a Dulce Candy clone? Lol I am seeing things.
Sally Hansen Compl...*yawns* what were we talking about again? Oh yeah, Sally Hansen Complete Salon Mani sets.
Look-Dream Bouncy BRONZERS!!!!! Oh yeah, and some dune-printed powders. Since I don't bronze (it makes me look like the sun burnt my skin to a glittery golden piece of toast-that was an overly elaborate description comparison...) none of this stuff looks very interesting to me.
More (huge) bronzer from Rimmel...is it just me or the is the model sunburnt bad? That is not a good look...
Oh yeah and the rest of the Maybelline bronzers. Excuse the mens grooming supplies underneath...
SH Diamond Strength...the colors look pretty nice...
Essie Sure Shot...I am not a pastel person really.
$14 for a teeny bottle of nail polish (I usually scrub of my polish right away because I bite my nails...yes, really :p) ?!? No thank you!
 Essie Navigate Her.
Oh boy...looks like another one's jumping on the crackle bandwagon...
Although they do have the hugest shade range I have ever seen for crackle polishes.
SC Castaway...and yet even MORE crackle!!!
SC Color Block...not sure why half of it's gone cuz it just looks blah to me...
Girls in Pearls from SC...called "the sheer shimmer collection" which I do not like the sound of.
 Essie Luxeffects.
 CG LashBlast Fusion min-display.
Boring falsies...I learned a long time ago that drugstore lashes stink.
 Kiss NailDressed strips.
CG What's Hot display featuring Sofia Vergara.
 Boring FlipBlast lipsticks.
SC Lip Shine. These would be kinda cool but I am scared off by the creepy model, boring cheap packaging, and...
 The boring, overly shimmery colors.
SH Spring Salon Effects polish strips-which look like pure junk.
Revlon Tres Chic-the color s   (there's only one shade) look really boring but her shadow is pretty..
Group pic of the whole (not-so-new) Dream line from Maybelline.
Great Lash Lots of Lashes mascara...their formula is terrible...

Maybelline Great Lash Mascara in Royal BLUE!!! (Pic Heavy)

Yes, I am a weird-enough preteen to try a bright blue mascara. But hey, I'm daring, got it? Who else would buy a neon rose lipstick like I did and wear it outside the house (okay, I lied there) ?

I love the juvenile-ish packaging Maybelline uses for their Great Lashies and Baby Lips, don't you? The bright colors on the tube are so eye-catching that you just have to grab one of the shelf before they're gone! I snatched it because I thought it was black, but as usual I was a dumbo and thought it was black LOL. But instead of returning it, I was curious about what a blue mascara would look like on my lashes so I kept it. I hated it. The stuff just clumps on the tips of my lashes, making the edges look like they're coated with little bits of blue mold! The formula is terribly sticky but doesn't smudge too easily if you don't overdo it. Bleh to you, Maybelline!
See how it gathers at the tip of the wand, just like it does on lashes?
 Chalky swatch.
Another random pic for a fun, just-because touch.
Lash swatch. See how it just clumps along the edges?
Closed eyes for a better view of what happens.

Maybelline Dream Bouncy Blushes!

Hello! Yesterday I bought two things I had been dying for since forever...Maybelline  Dream Bouncy Blushes in shades Orchid Hush and Fresh Pink! I'm guessing these came out about a month ago, since the biggest display was missing about half the shades (if not more) when I arrived at my Walgreens. In fact, there were two displays of the product, one large and one hidden away beside a huge Sally Hansen nail polish shelf (har har har, trying to cache the good stuff, eh?) and only one held all the shades. Guess which one? Yep, the little one. But anyway, who cares? I got what I needed and let's leave it at that!

Just look at those beautiful containers! Ahhh, those fun fonts, those cute pots... This pic is the one that shows the shades as they are, since the lighting was perfect in that particular spot. Orchid Hush is a pale violet with faint fuchsia undertones that are practically invisible, this one seems to open more easily. Fresh Pink is a warm-toned fuchsia with not as much shimmer as Orchid Hush. Both of these come in sturdy containers and have a texture like no other. See, they feel creamy when you poke them lightly, but if you start digging your finger in and pushing it around it'll feel like it is inflated and you're shoving around the air inside. Although the colors are buildable, they are quite sheer and slip off after about an hour of wear.
Both blushes open. The lighting here was a bit brighter so they ended up looking almost neon although they're not...
Both shades swatched (Fresh Pink on the left, Orchid Hush on the right). See how sheer they are?

Sheer Red Lippies to Love

Although I am more of a soft-pinks girl, sometimes I like to venture beyond the ordinary and try something new. This is a good example right here...

Here is L'oreal Color Riche Lip Gloss in Soft Wine, Victoria's Secret Beauty Rush Lip Gloss in Dandy Cane, and Maybelline Shinylicious Lip Gloss in Strawberry Tart. My favorite of the bunch has got to be the Maybelline one...it has a great texture and the perfect amount of tint, not to mention the tasty flavor. Now for the L'oreal-it is nice packaging but the shade is too sheer and I don't love the texture. As for the VS gloss...well...way-too-minty scent, VERY sticky feel, the only thing I like is the color. Typical...no surprises here.

Beautifully Bare Lip Glosses

Hey! A few minutes ago, I went in search of some neutral lip glosses and found what I was looking for. Enjoy the reviews and swatch samples!

Sally Hansen 18-Hour Lip Treatment in Nude: Pretty packaging, but smells weird and feels like soap on my lips. Typical for Sally Hansen...iffy products for an iffy  price. Probably not my first choice in lip treatments. It's kind of a slightly deeper-toned, shimmery pinky nude.

Maybelline Color Sensational Lip Gloss in Luscious Pink: Good packaging, nice effect, creamy texture and tint. Lower price tag than the SH stuff (whew!) although there is no lettering on it so I had to look it up on eBay to find out what it was! Maybe my second choice in light-colored gloss.

Blush Faves: I Love These!

Hey! I"m in the mood to do some swatching, so I am going to showcase my favorite blushes. Clearly, there are only two kinds and four shades, but those are the only ones I could dig up from my stash right now.

Due to the natural lighting, the shades look a bit paler than they're supposed to.

The Victoria's Secret Beauty Rush Cheek Tints are a tad hard to see because they are so sheer, so if you're wanting to make a statement, this is not the blush for you. They go on nice and smooth and deliver a natural-looking veil of color. I like these and wear them often because they are so light.

The Maybelline Dream Mousse Blush is one of my favorite blushes ever. It has an amazing whipped, airy feel that I just love scooping up on my fingertip and applying. A dab makes for nicely blendable color that isn't too moist or too drying. Love this!
