Prepare for Some Random Outside Scenery Cam Overload...

              Hey guys, just thought today was really pretty, considering that we have been getting a lot of snow up here lately so I took some pics. I hope you don't mind the fact that they're completely random and just enjoy the prettiness! 

 Doily-like shadow of a bare aspen tree in our front yard on the driveway.

 The grass strip in between our house and a neighbor's that runs to our

backyard gate was paved with ice, and it was so wet and mushy!

Yummy Treats for Valentine's Day!

              
             Hi! I know that this is crazy belated, but I think a good heart-inspired snack is great any day! On V-day, I enjoyed a fluffy cupcake and an amazing beverage to celebrate a great Valentine's day, and went to Qdoba for dinner. Yum! Here is what I ate at home, before Qdoba:

YUMMY! I had a chocolate cupcake and a grape juice with heart-shaped ice cubes also made out of grape juice. Mmm-mm-mm, was that good! I am going to include instructions for making both treats (well, decorating the cupcake and making the ice cubes) in this post, so enjoy! BTW, all these pics were taken on Valentine's. 

 TO MAKE THE CUPCAKE: Well, I don't know how to make the cupcake

itself, but what I DO know is how to decorate it. Top with frosting

in any shape you want, then add red and white sprinkles (I used jimmies) and a

candy heart. Simply delicious!

 How-to coming right up!

 TO MAKE THE ICE CUBES: Pour grape juice (or any other beverage

you like, at that!) into a mold with heart-shaped mini-molds to make

more than one. Freeze for about, say, eight hours for best results.

Ta-da! Add these to your drink (just make sure the tastes are a good blend!)

and enjoy!

touch a soda icon, it comes up with a menu of flavors of it! 
You can mix up all different kinds!

Well, since mine wasn't very exciting (just the old classroom card giveaway, board games with friends, etc.) but I did end up with a LOT of candy! Mmmm...I can't put the deliciousness into words...so here is a pic!

Walking in a Winter Wonderland!

             Hello! Yesterday and this morning, snow was falling madly, blanketing my neighborhood with about a foot and a half of freezing white powder. I thought it was crazy, and here's what I mean... Oh, see those bumps in the second pic? Those are bushes! Note that the snow is covering the trampoline's supports! Actually, this could be kinda like some sort of suburban Antarctica...

              Hey there! I just thought that to close out 2011 with a bang, I might post a picture of someone's holiday lights. My family was taking a drive around another neighborhood to see all the incredible lights, and there are these two homes we call the "Super Houses". It's become a tradition to drive by them every year. Here's an amazing picture I took of one:

My fave part is either the GARGANTUAN stocking over the porch or the coyote peeking up from the bottom. Their lights are really pretty, but the house next to it is the real Super House. 

You Will Not BELIEVE this Awesome Thing I Got for Christmas!!!!!

                Greetings! I just felt like creating a post, and what's a better subject than Christmas? One of my gifts was this supercool mini fountain thingy.

    It nestles right on my crowded nightside table it's so small, and the water that spouts from it pushes this little rock ball, which makes a really calming sound. It even has these nice tiny lights! Isn't it awesome...?
