Quickie Review: Jordana EasyShine Glossy Lip Color-Watermelon Juice
Jordana EasyShine Glossy Lip Color is a lipstick-balm hyrbid with a dewy feel and glossy finish. Watermelon Juice is a sheer watermelon shade that applies smoothly and shows up like a tinted balm. Wears for about thirty minutes :/. Not too bad for 2 bucks I guess...

More Pics for Philosophy Cream Blush
Hey, sorry I forgot to post a few shots in my last post, a review of my new Philosophy blush and it messes up my post if I put them in separately after the others in one post.
^The box
Pan comparison with theBalm Hot Mama, don't look too similar but..
Swatch comparison, hard to tell which is which! Philosophy is at the left, and theBalm at the right.
Philosophy Lit From Within Cream Blush Review and Swatches+ New Twitter!
Hey loves, lil' update: I now have a Twitter! Plz follow, Tweet, etc. me @athenalovescows! I appreciate it, thx! Also, I have added some new Philosophy to my collection, and here is a little something I got:
Yep, probably my fave of the five things I grabbed-the Lit From Within cream blush. I picked up the shade Feel Warm All Over, a warm coral with subtle golden shimmer. It comes in black plastic packaging with a built-in mirror. The texture is nice and smooth without being too thick that it's unmanageable, it's actually pretty sheer and gives you a nice, warm glow. It's very similar to theBalm Hot Mama (another fave of mine), just in cream form and a little less orange/golden.

Hard Candy World Balmination Glossy Tinted Balms
Bonjour! As you know, I have hauled a lot of Hard Candy lately, and these balms are among the gems (I guess?) of my little collection. I had a request from the wonderful Citrine to review these little toys, so Citrine love, here you are! Also, I want to let you know that you can ask me to review ANYTHING available internationally in drugstore in the comments. I do not review high end unless I note specifically but if you can ask me to review any drugstore and I will see if I have it!
Here is what they look like (the one shown is Fishnet). They come in cute, clear plastic packaging that is embellished with a cute design and isn't overly bulky but nor is it the sleekest balm I've ever come across. The balm has the scent of lemon cookies (mmmm!) and the stick is completely round without any rough/sharp edges. The thing about these is that they're SO SHEER! Vampire Bite (the red one) adds a nice just-bitten (hahaha) tint to lips but Fishnet only offers a just-about invisible bubblegum pink sheen. Anyhoo, the texture is okay, it glides on and is glossy with no actual "feeling" if you know what I'm talking about. Of course, it feels nice and cool on the lips, but it doesn't have a creamy-or-stiff type of texture. These, overall, are pretty nice balms but nothing special.
Fishnet-pure Barbie pink.
Swatch.
Vampire Bite-cool cherry that gives a sheer apple tint.

So, Citrine there you are! ♥XOXO♥

I Am One Lucky Girl...
...Because I snagged the Hard Candy First Flush mini makeup set! I am in a REALLY good mood right now :0) and I feel like I can do whateveeeeeeeeeeeeerrrrrr as long as I try! Also, it's not just my new Hard Candy loot...I have 6 AWESOME followers...including the lovely Riya of Pinkstrawberrielove! Well, it's actually more like 5 cuz I am following myself so I can keep up with when I post to stay on track. But anyway, you guys rock and I am so lucky to have such supportive people like y'all reading my blog. Thanks a million! P.S. Prepare for some pic heaviness like mad...
Hard Candy can't really get anymore generous...their full-size products are HUGE and in this teeny little set, they provide you with four adorable yet innovative mini-sized bestsellers. The products featured in the First Flush collection are: Blush Crush in Living Doll, Glow All the Way, Plumping Serum in Uptown Girl, and Sheer Envy Primer. Coincidentally, I was eyeing all these things in the exact same shades, so why pay the full value when you can get them all together in compact? Tee hee...must be the sales snob in me.
The cute set of (actually quite generous) sample-size goodies was packed neatly into an organized little cardboard box.
Closeup on the content label and the blush on top...
The back of the box describes all the products and gives their picture (except as the full size version).
Mini Blush Crush Baked Blush in Living Doll. Actually, this just happened to be the shade I had been eyeing, so it worked out perfectly but...where's the gold veining and the warm fuchsia? This is a totally different shade than I expected. It is actually a slightly metallic cool pink. Compared to my other powder blushes, this one feels rough like steel and goes on alright, even though the blending is difficult if you don't want to look like a...Living Doll!

Backside.
Compared to the image on the back of the box: WHAT THE HECK?!? This is NOT what came in the set, sorry!
I am not sure if the glue tore when I dropped the blush or if the pan is already removable, but either way, it is now.
SWATCHEEEEE!!!
Yes, it is my fave in mini-Glow All the Way Dollface Face and Body Luminizer! I have tried this on both face and body, and it works awesomely! The stuff is a creamy liquid sorta thing, like most illuminator thingies I have tried. It has the perfect amount of goddess-like shimmer and a pink tint like the packaging that blends into a lovely glow. I think I have just found my soul mate!
Squirting it out of the tube...
One-swipe swatch and blended swatch so you can see how it turns out...
It look so huge!
My fave-Sheer Envy Face Primer! This is great stuff, really, I am so blessed to have just a single mini tube of this. It has an unexplainable texture, creamy at first but melts to a powdery, light-as-air finish you can't even feel against your fingertips. It does a wonderful job of preventing fading, creasing, etc. and doubles as a lip and eye primer. And guess what the best part is? It actually makes my skin SMOOTHER in an instant, visually and texture-wise! AMAZING!!!!
Closeup on tube.
Squeezing it out...
The swatch really grasps the texture, only it melts into nothing and really isn't as thick as it looks.
Blended, you see nothing on the face except smooth skin, and it actually makes your foundation/concealer look more natural as well as set it!
Plumping Serum Volumizing Lip Gloss in Uptown Girl. This does a nice job of making my lips a tad plumper, adds a natural shine, and is a sheer pink color I love. The texture is okay, not my fave but I can deal with it. It has a subtle tingling sensation right after applied that lasts for about half and hour.
The not-so-high-end applicator...I'm so used to using this kind that it almost gets on my nerves...
Swatch.
What the...the is nothing like this and the packaging is the opposite too...
So, like the microhaul-in-a-box? I will be reviewing more Hard Candy soon, more from their drugstore-ish line. Loving them lately! I really ♥ all of you, I am really grateful to have all you great readers! Speaking of having friends around, our friends recently moved and I really miss them. Their oldest boy (out of two) played on my bro's soccer team, and I babysat for their ADORABLE two-year-old daughter. I took some pics of her, but due to respecting their privacy I can't share :(. Best wishes to you guys in your new home, miss you all so much! Love you!

Unforgettable Moments Haul!
Hey loves! I have been like CRAZY behind on my posting lately (using the schedule gadget LOL) so I have been scavenging for stuff that I could review. So I broke out my backup beauty box, which only has a few hunks of junk in it that I rejected by a slice but kept just in case. And now, look at me, digging up this stuff that I realized is perfectly fine...
Basically, I took pics of my haul on two different days. The pics with the pink flower background were taken in artificial light but are surprisingly color-accurate for most, and the ones with the natural setting were taking another afternoon in natural light. Anyway, Unforgettable moments is one of those gimmicky-chic brands formed by Payless ShoeSource. For the kind of drugstore-sort distribution, the products are actually pretty impressive even though the packaging gets kind of old/redundant. Hope you enjoy, each product will be getting its own review under the pic. If you see leftovers of other makeup, please try to ignore them...the cream eye liners are super longwearing... <To the left is the first part of my haul.

Eye Kit in Beachy Day. This palette is really convenient, since you can slip it right into your purse and get on the move! Although the rose packaging is quite dull, I am in love
with the under-the-sea themed shades. The cream liners are easy to apply, simply manipulated, and in gorgeous shades. The shadows include two matte and two shimmery shades, all of them being ultra lovely and super simple to apply as well as incredibly smooth and soft, silky to the touch. However, the included double-sided (one eyeshadow end, one cream liner end) applicator is not super usable, I prefer my own full-size tools.
Swatches of eye kit (L to R)-grassy olive cream liner, navy cream liner, shimmery jade green shadow, matte navy shadow, matte stormy blackish-gray shadow, shimmery white (with a teensy trace of very pale jade) shadow.
Shimmer brush swatch (first pic, middle product in lineup)-this is a very nice product. It is a loose face powder in a container, dispensed by sliding down the wraparound glass guard and sweeping the brush over your face. The shimmer is not as obvious from a distance (luckily!) but there is a little glimmer from every angle. The texture is very nice, packaging is sturdy, overall great product!
The outside of the other Eye Kit in shade group Stormy Sky, which is kind of weird naming for the color selection but oh well! ^_^
Open! This is identical in quality to the other one, so see first review.
Swatches-light pool turquoise (a combination of shimmery and matte) shadow, matte-shimmery white shadow, navy-silver cream liner, deep blackened olive cream liner, matte blackened gray shadow, shimmery silver shadow.
Lip Gloss swatch (see top pic, first product in lineup)-This has a combination smooth/sticky texture and rich, unexpectedly well-pigmented color payoff for a lip gloss. The shade I picked up (which I forgot the name of, sorry...) is a slightly shimmery, almost deep cherry red.
Outside of the Eye and Lip Palette in Classic Glamour.
The palette open, displaying a mirror and six lovely colors with two applicators (I am missing the left one!)-with a bunch of waiting-to-be-reviewed goodies in background.
Zoom in on the shadows-these have the same quality as the shadows in the two Eye Kits, scroll up to them to reread the review if you would like to.
The lip colors-these have a cream formula that is slightly drying, excellent color payoff, and decent longevity. Pretty shades too!
Swatches-matte-shimmery white shadow, slightly shimmery silvery, metal-like gray shadow, matte blackened gray shadow (which is in every kit, seriously!), bold orangey-red lip color, slightly rosy medium-pigmented red lip color, deep rosy purple-red lip color.
Hope you enjoyed my haul and reviews, that's all for now loves! ♥
