More Spy Cam: Walgreens Your Next! (Pic Heavy)

Hi! More spy cam...hope you like it! I have hit Walgreens to catch up on some new stuff, but it all looks kinda lame all in all...
The gem of this post-Wet 'n Wild Flora and Fauna 4-piece collections! Wow, full-size items (may I mention that I love all of these formulas/product?) for $4.99? Deal!!! Actually, doesn't the model look like a Dulce Candy clone? Lol I am seeing things.
Sally Hansen Compl...*yawns* what were we talking about again? Oh yeah, Sally Hansen Complete Salon Mani sets.
Look-Dream Bouncy BRONZERS!!!!! Oh yeah, and some dune-printed powders. Since I don't bronze (it makes me look like the sun burnt my skin to a glittery golden piece of toast-that was an overly elaborate description comparison...) none of this stuff looks very interesting to me.
More (huge) bronzer from Rimmel...is it just me or the is the model sunburnt bad? That is not a good look...
Oh yeah and the rest of the Maybelline bronzers. Excuse the mens grooming supplies underneath...
SH Diamond Strength...the colors look pretty nice...
Essie Sure Shot...I am not a pastel person really.
$14 for a teeny bottle of nail polish (I usually scrub of my polish right away because I bite my nails...yes, really :p) ?!? No thank you!
 Essie Navigate Her.
Oh boy...looks like another one's jumping on the crackle bandwagon...
Although they do have the hugest shade range I have ever seen for crackle polishes.
SC Castaway...and yet even MORE crackle!!!
SC Color Block...not sure why half of it's gone cuz it just looks blah to me...
Girls in Pearls from SC...called "the sheer shimmer collection" which I do not like the sound of.
 Essie Luxeffects.
 CG LashBlast Fusion min-display.
Boring falsies...I learned a long time ago that drugstore lashes stink.
 Kiss NailDressed strips.
CG What's Hot display featuring Sofia Vergara.
 Boring FlipBlast lipsticks.
SC Lip Shine. These would be kinda cool but I am scared off by the creepy model, boring cheap packaging, and...
 The boring, overly shimmery colors.
SH Spring Salon Effects polish strips-which look like pure junk.
Revlon Tres Chic-the color s   (there's only one shade) look really boring but her shadow is pretty..
Group pic of the whole (not-so-new) Dream line from Maybelline.
Great Lash Lots of Lashes mascara...their formula is terrible...

Wet 'n Wild Idol Eyes Créme Shadow Pencil in Techno

Hey! Recently, I went and bought a not-so-new shadow pencil from the Wet 'n Wild Idol Eyes (idolize?) shadow pencil collection. They are said to be a "cream" formula (or créme, as it's spelled on the pencil) although I say a bit differently...

The color looks so pretty it's deceiving that you'll like it! It's a super glamorous, iridescent violet with a bluish sheen. I love the shade, but the formula...who said it was so "creamy"? It's more like chalky, sheer whatever-you-wanna-call-it. Ugh...unless you really gunk it on (like you'd want to) it's pretty much invisible.
Dry swatch compared to wet one on my wrist, dry on the left
and wet on the right.
 Pencil with cap on...
Pencil with cap off, in a blur.

Wet 'n Wild MegaLength Mascara

I haven't blogged much about eyes yet, so I'm hoping to get in the rhythm of doing posts like that in the future! Here we go with one of my favorite mascaras, which is by Wet 'n Wild and by far more than satisfactory.

Oh, how I love this mascara! I like it because it makes my lashes lengthy and voluminous in a single sweep. The brush applicator is a very nice one and delivers an even amount of mascara, although once in a while it clumps just a bit. The navy tube is gorgeous, and I thought I would include a photo of the results below the swatch...

Nailed It: Polishes from Sinful Colors, Wet 'n Wild, O.P.I., and Sally Hansen

Here's a nail post for you to enjoy, but before you check it out, know that I have short, nubby nails due to a horrible biting habit, so I can't really swatch the polishes on my nails. Oh well...

My tower of polishes...quite artful, I must say. Below are the Sinful Colors Nail Art polishes (shades Rose in Your Nose, Orange Alert, Morning Breath, Worn Before, and Anxious Azure). Then come the Wet 'n Wild Wild Shine Nail Colors (shades French White Creme, Bijou Blue, Caribbean Frost, Ice Blue Pearl, Rain Check, and Black Creme). After that is the Sally Hansen Color Quick Fast Dry Nail Color Pen (shade Turquoise Chrome) and the Nicole by O.P.I. Nic's Sticks Paint & Go Nail Lacquer pens (shades Snow Time to Wait, Rainbow's End, Feeling Girly, Run Don't Walk, and Silver-ella). Last of all, the Sally Hansen Hard as nails Xtreme Wear nail polish in Lime Lights.

Review and results: The nail art polishes have nice thin  brushes and electrifying colors (love) the regular polishes really dazzle (love) the pens have trouble pumping-especially the SH one-but do have OK colors. (both maybe)  The SH regular polish is a nice color, but does have quite some fumes.

Lip Jelly, Lip Gloss, and That Other Stuff

Hey again! Here I am with yet another lip post, this one debating the differences between those items filed beneath that category. I have selected three cosmetics; a lip jelly, a lip gloss, and something else I don't know what to call; to post about. Here they are...

From left to right in both pix are...InColor by Jordana Lip Jelly Juicy Tints in an unamed red shade, Unforgettable Moments Lip Gloss in Luscious, and Wet 'n Wild MegaSlicks Lip Gloss in Cherry Glaze.

Now for the reviews. Lip jellies are balmier than regular gloss, and are most often flavored with just a hint of tint. Lip gloss like the Unforgettable Moments one are more pigmented and a tad creamier than others, while the Wet 'n Wild lip gloss is thinner and so lesser-pigmented that it barely shows up. More reviews later!
P.S. The lighting makes the MegaSlick look pure orange, although it is really a red-orange!

I Am OK with Wet 'n Wild's Baking a Cake eye kit...

As much as I love animals, I love cool makeup, and Wet 'n Wild's Baking a Cake Eye Kit is no exception...sort of. I love all the colors swirled into the marbled shades, and the solid shimmers are cool, too. However, although the appearance is awesome, the product isn't the highest quality. The dome shape is not all eyeshadow (most of the shape is plastic), and if you wet the shadow to intensify it, it crumples and makes a mess, not to mention you lose half the product. The colors hardly blend, and although they look quite pigmented, they are actually a pain to try and see.

So yes, they are cool enough to spend your money on, but they might not be all they seem, so try not to make the mistakes I made! Oh, and, there's nothing wrong with the eyeliner. I like the slight shimmer, although it is a bit stubborn to get a straight line out of.

Here's a Fantastic New Year's Nail Look!

Hey! Here is a photo of a great new year's nail idea a came up with:

Simply paint your nails any color, then cover with a glitter top coat.  The nail polish base is Avon Nailwear Pro in shade Empower, and the sparkle top coat is Wet 'n Wild Fast Dry Nail Color in shade Party of Five Glitters.
