MY NEW PHONE!!!

SUPER EXCITING NEWS!!! Today, my dad took me to the Apple store, and I got my iPhone 4G! Yayayayayay! I am SO excited and happy! Yeah, yeah, yeah! I took some pix of my new phone, using my dad's 4S, and want to share them with you:

There it is! The lighting was artificial so it wasn't really color-accurate. The case is really a candy-like, neon pink shade that reminds me of Revlon Colorburst Lipstick in Candy Pink. It is kinda hard, kinda soft with a slightly jelly-transparent look. Here is a list of all the new apps:

* Games: Waterslide 2, Magic Piano, Dots Free, Ninjago something Hunt, Doodle Sprint, Stickly Jump, FS5 Hockey, Star Wars Falcon Gunner, GameCenter, TicTacFree, Classic Meteoroids, Hangman, Multiponk, Sudoku, and Lightsaber

*Utilities: music, clock, PhotoGene, improved camera, calender, changeable homescreen background, compass, level, LED light (it actually "streams" from the phone!), Google Earth, reminders, YouTube, notes, contacts, SoundHound, weather, Voice Memos, Dictionary.com, and calculator.

The back of the case-surprise! See-through pawprints (that reveal the silver phone)
It's not just those apps...(note, the lighting was much darker there so it dulled the
case color)
 It's those apps...
AND THOSE APPS!!!
P.S. Happy Leap Day!

Super Short Post: The Mess in My Desk

Oh my gosh, I've gotta get going-but my daily post isn't done! I hope you don't mind my rush, but I have been a little slow posting lately so I have had to schedule some posts instead of doing them that day...

There it is...the mess. It was caused when the lid to my E.L.F. pink mineral blush (which I hope to be reviewing soon...) wasn't screwed on right and the whole thing practically exploded. It got all over some stuff in my desk drawer, but luckily that was my junk drawer (sort of) so it all wasn't a problem. It all just washed off.

Wet 'n Wild Idol Eyes Créme Shadow Pencil in Techno

Hey! Recently, I went and bought a not-so-new shadow pencil from the Wet 'n Wild Idol Eyes (idolize?) shadow pencil collection. They are said to be a "cream" formula (or créme, as it's spelled on the pencil) although I say a bit differently...

The color looks so pretty it's deceiving that you'll like it! It's a super glamorous, iridescent violet with a bluish sheen. I love the shade, but the formula...who said it was so "creamy"? It's more like chalky, sheer whatever-you-wanna-call-it. Ugh...unless you really gunk it on (like you'd want to) it's pretty much invisible.
Dry swatch compared to wet one on my wrist, dry on the left
and wet on the right.

Pencil with cap off, in a blur.

Victoria's Secret Drenched in Pink Supersoft Body Lotion: Cool and Carefree

Hi guys! I have not done a bath and body post in awhile, so here you go. Other than Bath and Body Works and Avon, most of my bath and body products are from VS. I hope you guys enjoy!

Although pink is a pretty girly color (but I like it on my lips/cheeks anyway), the packaging of these VS things make it seem more "adult" and funky. I love the designs and all that! But what's up with the dog? But forget it, I think this is a nice lotion, just not anything exciting. The texture is alright, it's creamy at first but then turns watery. The scent is lovely although it is very faint. I wouldn't say this is anything special.
A nice, creamy blob of lotion...
Until it ran.

NYC City Duet 2 in 1 Lip Color in the Hot Pinks

No, seriously, that's the shade name! The Hot Pinks! But forget it, I recently bought this lipstick because of all the hype going on about their coolness, uniqueness, etc. I was like, "Whoa, how often do you see a split-down-the-middle lipstick in TWO COLORS? I have to have this!". Well, let's see if it's worth it (although it was dirt-cheap, only $2.99 so I won't feel cheated if it doesn't work out...)

I have to say, this is some pretty sleek, square-prism packaging for a drugstore product. But I guess they were really trying to get you to see that it was divided into two colors, because they made a really intricate line down the middle of the lipstick and added an ugly "crack" on the top. When I first opened it, I noticed that there was no slant and was like, "How the heck am I gonna get this on?" Well, I guess you go up the side. Gross. The texture is okay, it applies nicely but wears off pretty fast. The fuchsia is mainly blue-based and shimmery, same with the light pink although I see more silvery white sheen. But for the price, I'm not this least bit upset that I had to give this a B.
Cap off, look at how sharp the line separating the shades is!
Swatches of both shades, sorry I forgot to do a blended swatch...(but am to lazy to retake)
I think the sticker label at the bottom is so cute, it's split just like the lipstick!

We ♥ Cute Makeup Bags! Part II

Hi guys! I recently dug up another adorable find: a new makeup bag! I love this one and use it in my purse every day since my other one couldn't hold my growing-and-overflowing collection of cosmetics. Hope you like this!

Behold, the beauty! I love the blackened bronze "leather" bag with all those glamorous ruffles, although the tassel is quite boring. Oh well. The bag is a good size, big enough to hold about five lip glosses or lipsticks, a small eye (or face, or everything!) palette, and maybe you could squeeze in a pair of sunglasses or some applicators, maybe a mini body lotion. The zipper has never gotten stuck, the material is strong and secure...what's not to love?
Closeup on those glam ruffles, also to zoom in on the fabric and color...
P.S. Look at that late 1800s-early 1900s style cloche hat! So cute!

Super Short Post: Revlon Nail Enamel in Sunshine Sparkle

Hey guys, I have someplace to be but still haven't done my daily post so it's gonna be a short one. I hope you don't mind my hurry, I will be back to my normal posting length tomorrow.

This Revlon nail polish is a lovely pale yellow color with loads of positively minuscule shimmer. It applies okay, although it has a somewhat watery consistency and turns out incredibly sheer. It kind of pools on the nails if you apply too much. Nonetheless, it is a quite pretty color and the packaging is sturdy although quite boring.
The shade name from the top of the bottle...
Messy swatch on my thumbnail, you can barely see it!

Physician's Formula Happy Booster Glow and Mood Boosting Blush in Pink

As I have heard, the PF Happy Booster Blush range contained two shades, Rose and Warm, until they added the shade Pink. Drugstore cosmetic companies need to come up with better/less boring names for their products, don't they? Anyway, I bought Pink and am in LOVE...well, pretty much. WARNING: Prepare for some serious cam overload!

No, it's not weird photo editing, it's a side shot! As you can see, this adorable blusher is printed with 3-D, popup hearts in all different shades of pink. It is just plain CUTE!!! I love the colors, hearts (they remind me of mini balloons without strings, floating around and bouncing and shooting out everywhere!), and aphrodisiac aroma. The scent is really the icing on the cake. I love the smell of fresh-picked violets, who knew it would be even better in a blush! The blush is packed firmly into the container, which does not feel at all flimsy (except for when you're opening up the brush's home, then the whole top part flips back hard and clacks against the lid) and is a lovely metallic fuchsia. The stuff is fairly pigmented, slightly shimmery, with a smooth and cashmere-like texture. I love the little bitty brush, too! Did anyone notice the handy mirror underneath the palette? LOVE THIS!!!
Shot from the front, in the shade this time so everything turns
bluish even though the colors are more warm-toned.
Closeup on the adorable little hearts (with the compact open)
Me holding it a bit further from the camera, mostly in the sun
with a strip of shade running down the middle.
The compact open to show the mirror an the brush hidden underneath.
So cute!
Closeup on the half-moon brush, isn't it cute? (How many times have I said that word 'cute'...)
I love the metallic red bottom with the bristles split into two shades,
pink and red.
Some very unclear swatches of the singular hearts, I don't remember the order
but they're all fairly similar.
The compact flipped over to display the product name, shade, blahblahblah. For the price,
this is a great product and this info on the bottom is really useful to
beauty bloggers like me who need to know all that for their posts to be right.

P.S. Guys, did any of you see that Ninjago episode (on Cartoon Network, the Lego show) 'Tick Tock'? ZANE IS A ROBOT!!! GGAAAAAAHHH, I am freaked! Wait, sorry Jay... I meant Nindroid. But still, that is just plain CREEPY! I am going to get nightmares because of you, Lego dudes! ZANE USED TO BE MY FAVORITE NINJA, but he is not a human (well, none of them are, they're actually minifigures!) so I am all FREAKED OUT about him! Lego guys, what are your PROBLEMS?!?!
The reason he never had a sense of humor is because his "funny switch" was not on. He flicks it on in front of his friends (the other ninja: Kai, Cole, and Jay) and starts singing this weird song in weird voices along to a super weird dance. Only Jay laughs his head off, as usual. Here is a video I took of the scene playing on my TV, I did not create this but I did take the vid:
LOL, look at the expression Cole was frozen in at the end.

Prepare for Some Random Outside Scenery Cam Overload...

Hey guys, just thought today was really pretty, considering that we have been getting a lot of snow up here lately so I took some pics. I hope you don't mind the fact that they're completely random and just enjoy the prettiness!
Doily-like shadow of a bare aspen tree in our front yard on the driveway.
The grass strip in between our house and a neighbor's that runs to our
backyard gate was paved with ice, and it was so wet and mushy!
Random-but-pretty shot of the bushes, with the sun peeking through the
trees in the background.
Last but not least, our St. Patrick's Day clover wreaths on the front doors!

Yummy Treats for Valentine's Day!

Hi! I know that this is crazy belated, but I think a good heart-inspired snack is great any day! On V-day, I enjoyed a fluffy cupcake and an amazing beverage to celebrate a great Valentine's day, and went to Qdoba for dinner. Yum! Here is what I ate at home, before Qdoba:

YUMMY! I had a chocolate cupcake and a grape juice with heart-shaped ice cubes also made out of grape juice. Mmm-mm-mm, was that good! I am going to include instructions for making both treats (well, decorating the cupcake and making the ice cubes) in this post, so enjoy! BTW, all these pics were taken on Valentine's.
TO MAKE THE CUPCAKE: Well, I don't know how to make the cupcake
itself, but what I DO know is how to decorate it. Top with frosting
in any shape you want, then add red and white sprinkles (I used jimmies) and a
candy heart. Simply delicious!
A blurry from-the-top shot of my grape juice, notice the cute ice cubes!
 How-to coming right up!
TO MAKE THE ICE CUBES: Pour grape juice (or any other beverage
you like, at that!) into a mold with heart-shaped mini-molds to make
more than one. Freeze for about, say, eight hours for best results.
Ta-da! Add these to your drink (just make sure the tastes are a good blend!)
and enjoy!
The awesome space-age, touchscreen soda machine at Qdoba. Seriously, when you
touch a soda icon, it comes up with a menu of flavors of it!
You can mix up all different kinds!

I hope you all had a fantastic V-day (even though my wish is quite belated!)
and I love you all!

Revlon Super Lustrous Lip Gloss in Pink Pop

Hi! As you guys probably all know by now, I am a lip gloss addict an am constantly adding new faves to my collection. One of my recent loves is *drumroll* Revlon Super Lustrous Lip Gloss in shade Pink Pop!

No, this is NOT new! In fact, most of the stuff I review has been around for awhile because I just started my blog in December 2011, so...yeah. You get the picture. But forget that, time for a review! Revlon Super Lustrous Lip Glosses are a lineup of jellyish-cream glosses with moderate pigmentation and loads of lovely shine. They are housed in a sleek rectangular-prism tube with a black lid as glossy as the formula, trimmed with the practically signature gold band. Pop Pink is a non-obnoxious fuchsia on me. Nevertheless, I love the formula, shade and packaging altogether- I will definitely be getting more of these beauties!
A blurry swatch that brings out the texture but really missed

Jordana FabuLiner Liquid Eye Liner + Cute Swatch!

Hey! I have decided that I will from now on do fun swatches with anything in the form of a pencil or pen, which I hope you will like! I am excited to be able to draw with cosmetics on my arm like a real makeup artist!

Here it is! I think it is very pretty and it comes in a sorta-sleek tube with gold embellishments...a classic design to love! However, the product has nice staying power, but when you're trying to get it off it requires fierce rubbing that makes your eyes feel like a firey rash is taking over. It glides on alright, but the pen flops around so it isn't very precise. The tip wiggles and you end up with a thick, bumpy line. Ugh...perhaps a C plus would be an appropriate grade?
Closeup on the spongy pen applicator that wobbles so much...
Swatched, compared to E.L.F. Shimmer Eyeliner Pencil in black. See, look at
how much cuter hearts are than plain old lines!

Avon Shine Attract Lipstick in Fuchsia Flare...and Campaign 6 Catalog Scandal

Hey lovelies! (What an awkward greeting...) Oh well. Anyway, I would like you to meet (dah-dah-dah-DAH!) my new favorite lipstick! Seriously, admit it...everyone's been buzzing lately about those Avon Shine Attract lipsticks, so I decided to give them a try. Really, how often does a lipstick wrapped in gloss come up? Once in a lifetime if it's the "world's first" to do it. Let's check it out, shall we?

Whoa! Hello, awesomeness! What lipstick lover would have the heart NOT to fall in love at first sight? Look at that lovely layer of moisturizing shine encasing a stick of luscious deep rose pink color...sheer genius. And I mean it! This stuff is so toned-down it any shade will work as a my-lips-but-better miracle unless you gunk on tons! But back to the review, the bottom line is that this is a mesmerizing product that is sure to take over as a beauty revolution to be remembered forever. The texture of both is creamy and spreads like a dream. The gloss adds a lustrous gleam of replenishment, while the always-perfect color (in this case, a fantastic fuchsia that is nowhere near as bright as it looks in the official swatch)  unique-ifies your pout with a glamalicious tint. My only bug is that it tastes a tad yucky the second you lick your lips but then wears away. Five stars for Avon!
Here it is swatched (R) next to the sample I received in shade Rose Pink.
The sleek silver tube that looks slightly cheap but isn't delicate
enough to be near scratch-prone.
